Agriturismo Cà Nova del Tenente

We were there May 19 to 21, and even though it was raining when we arrived, our host made us feel welcome. The room and shared spaces were clean, and dinner was home cooked with generous portions. They even surprised my husband with a birthday tart after learning at check-in that it was his birthday. Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and they sent us back to Rome with two jars of homemade jam. For us, the location worked perfectly, just a drive from our concert at Unipol in Bologna.

We stumbled on the place while exploring the Colline and managed to get a terrace table with a lovely view. The owners and staff were friendly and knew their stuff. We enjoyed everything from the starter through the main course to dessert, and their own wine was excellent alongside the meal. We’ll definitely return!

After more than 28 years of visiting Italy, we can say this restaurant served some of the best dishes we've ever tried. The pasta and wine were handmade. We'd absolutely recommend it for anyone after an authentic Italian weekend lunch.

Signora Mirella was such a caring, lovely host. We stayed in their very roomy two-bedroom apartment, with beautiful views, tasty breakfasts and dinners that were hard to resist. It had everything we could have wanted.
