We were yelled at twice over swimming caps. Nobody told us when we arrived that caps were required, and there were no signs about it. I went to reception to buy them, but got sent to a different reception on the other side of the spa. After paying, I was yelled at again because the caps were the wrong kind. Communication and staff service were poor. The spa is outdated, could be cleaner, and is always crowded since the facilities aren't built for the number of people they let in, especially during Covid. The Turkish bath was broken, and staff seemed not to care when I told them. The price is affordable, but I wouldn't go back. It's a shame the staff are rude for no reason.

I spent four hours here for 20 euros, and it was time well spent. Terme di Monticelli is a lovely way to take a day to unwind while travelling in Italy, with hydro baths, steam and sauna rooms, and jacuzzis with real jets placed just right to loosen up your body. The place was very clean and extremely well maintained. There are also therapeutic treatments, a hotel attached, Hotel seller Rose, and wonderful gardens if you want a wellness vacation. I left feeling rejuvenated and ready for Florence. A visit to one of Italy's famous thermal baths feels like a must.
