The real bonus was the night sky, with the Milky Way and so many stars shining above us. We stayed two nights, and Maria Lucia was kind and helpful, giving us a thorough introduction to the area. Our apartment was tidy and well cared for, tucked among greenery in a very peaceful setting.

Mrs. Maria Lucia made us feel welcome right away and was warm and helpful throughout. The place was quiet, the accommodation tastefully furnished and well looked after, and we felt completely at home. A lovely choice for a restful holiday.

We were surrounded by nature, with chestnut trees, holm oaks, pines and ferns across the huge garden, and even wild boars and martens around. The apartments feel like something out of a fairytale, set in a medieval village with Etruscan and medieval history close at hand. Siena, Massa Marittima and Follonica, with its stunning sea, are only a short distance away. In the nearby towns we found inns, restaurants and bistros with outstanding hospitality, food quality and prices. An unforgettable stay.

The old-fashioned, rustic furnishings keep the house's original character and charm. It was wonderfully peaceful, just the place to relax.

The owner was both kind and capable. The apartment was clean, roomy and comfortable, and staying there gave me the feeling of stepping into the past. A fantastic place.
