The service was so pleasant, always offered with a smile and good will. Breakfast was delicious and indulgent, and in the evening you can sit by the fireplace or outside and order drinks. The villa is in a wonderful location, with a thoughtfully decorated house, garden, rooms, and shared spaces. Every detail helps make it feel like a high-end home. I’d highly recommend coming here, whether on your own or with family.

The location is charming, though it’s about 25min. by car from the beach at Forte dei Marmi. We left disappointed. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique property, but the prices feel unreasonable. A 125ml soft drink from the minibar costs 5€, and water at breakfast isn’t refilled regularly, so you may have to ask for a bottle. Some drinks were also past their expiration date. For a room costing just under 400€ per night, I’d expect help with carrying suitcases upstairs to be offered. Instead, the service made us feel that profit mattered more than Italian hospitality. Given the high prices and lack of service, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The Beach-club is one of the top 3 in Forte, with amazing Food and top Service. At the place we stayed, we felt at home as soon as we arrived and were well taken care of. It really couldn’t have been better. Grazie mille!

The beach looks lovely and is very clean, but that was the only good thing about it. I ran into problems from the day I booked the hotel. The owner, Gilda, came across as nervous, rude, and stressful, and seemed not to care about customers. She needs management training, for sure. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying at Villa Gilda or visiting the beach club in Forte dei Marmi. We were treated so badly and faced a lot of stress.
