The garden and grounds are a real treat, with mountain views and several shady spots with tables. Inside, it’s warm, the bed is excellent, and the water gets nice and hot after a few minutes. Tourist brochures are available in your language when possible. Roberto was welcoming and friendly, and clearly cares about supporting his village. The old house has been beautifully renovated, with stone roofs and walls, murals, and small decorative details throughout. The furniture was made by Roberto. Across from the rooms, there’s a separate building with the old wine press still in place, hence Antico torchio.

We had a really good stay. The apartments are quaint, and the property is well cared for. It’s a quiet spot with barbecue facilities, just right for a break from the city.
