B&B Aurora Salentina

Breakfast at B&B Aurora Salentina was thoughtfully prepared, with coffee, cappuccino, tea or another drink, plus fresh fruit, toast, croissants, and homemade cakes. The hostess even bought special foods my boyfriend could eat because of his allergies. We stayed in June, and the rooms were simple but individually and tastefully furnished, always clean, and tidied with the beds made each morning. There's also a conveniently accessible washing machine in the shared area. The location made getting to the beaches easy. There is no private parking, though we could park along the quiet street. The owner was kind and helpful, as was the manager of the characteristic restaurant "La Trattoria La Vasca." He was happy to suggest places to eat and boat trips nearby, and the restaurant is great for traditional Salento food. The price felt more than fair. It's a welcoming, family-friendly B&B I'd be glad to return to.

Rita's breakfast looked just like the photos, the room was always in perfect shape, and the whole place was quiet and relaxing. The soft, fragrant bath and hand towels were a lovely extra. We got plenty of useful suggestions about what to see and where to eat. The B&B is in the hamlet of Barbarano del Capo, with beaches and villages close by. Gabriele, the owner, also runs the Vasca restaurant in Morciano di Leuca, which is well worth trying. There are neat gardens and an outdoor shower, too, along with a minimarket, bar, and tobacconist nearby. A well-earned five stars.

The room was spacious and clean, and our host was genuinely kind and helpful. It's a lovely property in a great spot for reaching both the Adriatic and Ionian beaches, with a good breakfast and excellent value for money. La Vasca, owned by the same person, is only a few minutes away and serves excellent food at a great price.

Breakfast in the garden was delicious and generous, and the room and shared areas were spotless. Gabriele and his staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. The property met all my expectations and felt perfect in every way.
