B&B Casa Maria

The rooms were cold and only warmed up on our second day. When we told the owner about the condition of the place, he seemed completely indifferent and only said he’d have the woman come back to clean. She did pick up the dead insects, but nothing else was addressed, and we weren’t offered any discount. At the end of the stay, the owner couldn’t be reached even to hand back the keys, so we left them in the small box. The photos make the place look lovely, but in person it was a very different story: clutter on the furniture, chairs, and sofas; dust, cobwebs, spiders, flies, and live and dead bedbugs everywhere. The windows and mosquito screens were dirty and broken. The shower had no doors, and the pantry had expired breakfast food. Strongly not recommended.
