We came back after four years, drawn by how much we'd enjoyed our previous stay, and spent 10 days here with my wife during our Sardinia holiday in September this year. It was just as perfect this time. The managers, Simona and Luca, were a real bonus. They're warm, hardworking, attentive, and quick and efficient at sorting out any small issue. Congratulations to them! The villas sit in a small, independent complex surrounded by greenery in this corner of southeastern Sardinia. The nearest paved road is 400 meters away, reached by a well-kept dirt road lined on both sides by olive and wild olive trees. Each villa has a spacious covered veranda facing a carefully kept lawn, with views of the mountains and the sea on the horizon. Breakfast out there is unforgettable, with the quiet and those distinctive Sardinian scents all around. Inside, the rooms are spacious and bright, with high ceilings and exposed wooden beams, and tasteful, beautifully made furniture. Everything we needed was there, including a dishwasher. For us, this remains our "Buen Retiro" in Sardinia, and we highly recommend it.

The owners were incredibly kind, and the residence had everything we needed. We spent a week in August in this peaceful oasis, with spacious, beautifully furnished rooms and nothing missing. It's only a few minutes' drive from a stunning sea. If we're back in the Costa Rei area, we'll definitely return to Sole d'Estate!
