The view was incredible, and we had a wonderful time in the large apartment. The amenities suited the place well. Just so you know, the WiFi and AC worked, though they weren't as powerful as what you'd get in a big city. Rent a car, enjoy the countryside, and you can start or end each day in a calm, friendly atmosphere. We were about an hour from any Tuscan town we wanted to visit. Everyone we met was kind, knew the area, and shared personal recommendations that we loved. We only wish we'd tried the on-site restaurant before our last night. Honestly, some of the best food we ate in Tuscany. We'd seen older reviews saying the food might not be up to par, but something has changed, or those reviews were wrong. The pasta was great, especially the best tortellini we've ever had, and the main courses were fantastic. My wife actually teared up when we had to leave for Florence. This place felt special. I'd looked into staying in a larger town and taking the bus around Tuscany. I'm glad we rented a car and stayed here. You won't regret it.

The mezzanine room has its own outdoor space, and we found it great value, with a heated pool and lovely views. Don't hesitate to book.

Cyclists seem to love this hotel, and the rooms have pictures of champion riders. It's set among beautiful greenery, reached by charming roads, with spacious, comfortable rooms and peaceful views. There's a heated pool and a ping-pong table, too. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant serves a varied Tuscan menu. A special, relaxing place. Highly recommended.

After long days touring in July's heat, we loved finishing with a swim. Our village stay was really enjoyable, the room was clean, and the big bath towels were a welcome touch. The quiet surroundings and kind staff are what will bring us back.

We went in summer to get away from everything, and it was a great choice. There are lots of cycling routes and, if you can walk, plenty of lovely little villages nearby. As my father puts it, it's a cyclist's dream: you can ride while your family relaxes in the great pool. We did have flies buzzing around us throughout the holiday, though.
