Country House Casco dell'Acqua

We stayed for two nights during a cycling tour and loved the place. Luigi greeted us, and we also met his mom, who was a real gem. I wish I could speak Italian with her. Karla made us a lovely dinner and breakfast, and the room was very nice, though the beds may have been too firm. After a day cycling, the cool pool was so pleasant. Just a great place to stay. Carla was such a warm, lovely host, and the meals she made were the highlight for us. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we loved the cats around the property too. We stayed two nights at Country House Casco Dell'Acqua during a weeklong cycling trip in Umbria in late October 2023. Our room had plenty of space, a kitchenette, and a large ensuite bathroom. The views toward Montefalco and the surrounding countryside were beautiful.

Carla, her mother Antonia, and her brother Luigi made us feel like part of the family. Luigi kept the conversation going and shared the wines, while Carla and Antonia cooked wonderful breakfasts and dinners. The food was fantastic, and the stay has a special place in our hearts. My husband and I spent two nights in this lovely home, surrounded by farmland and a river, with a view of Montefalco. There’s also a beautiful saltwater pool. The rooms are nicely furnished, with lovely bathrooms, and the whole place is peaceful and quiet. Thank you for making us feel at home in your home.

The two dinners Carla and Luigi made for our group were the best meals of our week in Umbria. There were 10 of us cycling, and we stayed at this charming guesthouse for two nights in early September. It’s a modern home with all the conveniences and great air conditioning. My wife and I would love to come back, spend longer, and visit the medieval hill towns around the region. A wonderful experience.
