Matteo was especially helpful when a medical issue came up during our stay. Since we don’t speak Italian and communication was difficult, he went to a lot of trouble to make phone calls for us. He kept checking in afterwards to see how we were doing, which meant a lot. Once that setback had passed, we could get out to do some sightseeing, and his suggestions for interesting places were useful. We were glad to spend 8 days at Tenuta Sant'Andrea while visiting Puglia. The old farmhouse buildings are lovely, the accommodation suited our needs perfectly, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We also enjoyed relaxing in the shade of the trees by the pool. We’re especially grateful to Matteo for being such a good host.

There’s a kind of peace in this part of Puglia that’s hard to find anywhere. We loved the whole masseria. If you like nature, birdsong in the morning, and reading or resting beside a beautiful pool, you’ll find it hard to leave this magical place. Matteo, the owner, gives great advice every day about beaches and places worth visiting. Don’t miss the chance to stay there. It’s wonder-full.

Matteo made such a difference to our time in Salento. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the area's history and culture, and his suggestions for places to see and things to do came with personal stories too. He was warm and generous with his time, and we're so grateful we met him. Carlo, Paola, and Emmanuela were kind, thoughtful, and always ready to help as well.

The food was a real highlight, with a lovely breakfast and dinner featuring regional dishes. This is a gem in Salento / Puglia, with comfortable apartments on an active farm, plenty of space around them, and a beautiful pool. Recommended!
