The property itself is good: we booked the yellow room, the largest available. It was neat and clean, the beds were comfortable, the linen was clean, it had more tech features, and there was a partial mountain view. The management, though, was pathetically bad. We came from the UK and knew nobody would meet us, so we needed clear access instructions in advance. Despite repeated requests and explaining that four of our five phones had no roaming, we only got instructions late on arrival day. Luckily the fifth phone worked, or we'd have been stranded outside. There was no one on site to deal with issues, probably because it was being managed remotely from China. One room was spacious, but the other was cramped, and opening its window risked hitting your head. The listing said the bath and toilet were attached, but they're shared. They charged a cleaning fee and also left instructions telling us to clean after ourselves. The AC didn't work, and by the time you figured that out or got a response, three or four days could pass. We repeatedly asked for the complimentary city bus pass and never got it. Using those passes would be environmentally friendly and save time searching for parking. There's dedicated parking downstairs, but they still charge for it. We found plenty of parking near the vineyards behind the property, just ask someone there. The cutlery wasn't clean, so we used the dishwasher and the single tablet provided. When we asked for another, they promptly said we'd have to buy one. We stayed four days and got just one tablet. For five people they gave us only two access cards, and when we asked, they told us to travel in two groups all the time.

The apartment was filthy when we arrived, and the walls were so thin we heard neighbors and street noise all night. Several times, other people's cars occupied the parking space we'd booked. When we raised it, we were ignored. The TV powers on but has no programs, and again, nobody offered help. They also supplied only one dishwasher tablet, so we had to buy the rest ourselves. The problems went on and on. Even one star feels too generous.

Thoughtful details and Annalisa's care for them made us feel very welcome. The apartment was tastefully furnished, spotless, and felt just right to live in. It's fairly central, handy for hiking and cycling, and the nearest beach is easy to reach on foot.

Nago is above Torbole, so the quieter setting suited us well. We spent a week in the "Yellow" apartment and felt very comfortable there. It was tastefully furnished and beautifully put together, and very clean.
