2/10
We were disgusted and disappointed by how we were treated. Three days before arrival, we found out that night check-in wasn’t possible. After driving 1000 km, I was told to sleep in the car and wait until reception opened in the morning. We’ve never experienced such disrespect toward a guest. The reception’s behavior matches this review. They chose to cancel the reservation instead of finding a solution. I do not recommend this place. The service is arrogant and haughty.

The area is stunning, but the crowds of cyclists make it a nightmare. Most seem to think they have right of way on roads and pavements, even along the beautiful seafront, and they’ll hit you at speed if you don’t move. Our room was spacious. There was a basic coffee setup, but no tea, and the plastic spoons melted when used to make coffee. The service staff were very friendly and polite.

We’ve stayed three times and have had really good holidays there. The food is good, the hotel is very clean, and the family are so helpful.

A quiet, family run hotel. The staff are helpful, and both the rooms and bathrooms are a good size.
