2B Fifteen Floor Suite Napoli

It's a handy base in an office district, only a five-minute walk from the train station. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean, and well looked after. The bathroom and shower are roomy, with new, good-quality fixtures. Even in this densely populated neighborhood, it stays quiet and peaceful. The woman running the B&B was very kind and helpful. The breakfast area and the other amenities could use some improvement.

The affiliated bar served a good breakfast, but that was the one bright spot in a stay I rated one star. The blankets and pillows had an unpleasant smell, the elevators weren't working, and the shower wouldn't switch off, leaving water all over the floor. The toilet was broken too. The main problem was the hot water. I showered for five minutes, then my girlfriend got in. After about 30 seconds she felt the water turning colder and colder. We called the woman twice. First she said to wait for the heater to work again, without saying how long, because it had probably run out of power, perhaps because guests were in the next room, actually two rooms. We realized later they arrived at midnight. On the second call, she sounded annoyed, said she didn't have a stopwatch, and hung up. From 9 PM to 11:30 PM, we were stuck in the bathroom hoping the hot water would come back. It never did. We went to bed feeling unwell. Our only evening in Naples was spent with me standing and my girlfriend on the toilet.

The room's modern, small but comfortable, and the bathrooms are decent. I loved the multicolored LED lights. The only nuisance was finding a partly used roll of toilet paper. Fine for a night.

Mrs. Lina was so welcoming and kind. This well-designed apartment sits on the 15th floor of a tower, with a spectacular view. It's right by the station and in the middle of the business district. The prices are quite reasonable too. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I return.
