The price through Booking was €378 for 3 nights, which felt excessive. The room also had no daily cleaning, and sheets and towels were changed according to the length of the stay. There was only a minimal courtesy set. Our kettle had water in it, probably from the previous guest, while the common hallway had a coffee machine, jam portions, and toast packets. Breakfast vouchers for a nearby bar were available, but we didn’t use them, so I can’t comment. The room temperature couldn’t be controlled: the radiators didn’t work, and even with the heat pump set to 30°C, we slept with a blanket because the air probably wasn’t warm. The mattress was uncomfortable, with no protector or topper beyond the fitted sheet. The bathroom was small and had no window, and the shower was lukewarm rather than hot. We could hear neighbors talking at a normal volume because the rooms weren’t soundproofed. Our room was average in size, with the option of a third bed, just a mattress on the floor, on a mezzanine reached by a rather steep staircase. The accommodation is in Vomero, a little outside central Naples, but near a metro station and a supermarket.
