We were happy to be let through by the staff at this station using Trenitalia metro tickets that were already 15 minutes old. I pointed out that they should be valid for 90 minutes on any transport, for a ride on the Linea 2 Metro train, and they let us in. We went to the final stop, Cimarosa, then walked 10 minutes to the lovely green public Park, Villa Floridiana. The station is modern, recently renovated and not crowded. Thanks very much for the ride!

A Liberty style light train linking Vomero and Chiaia in both directions, with departures every 10 minutes. It connects with metro line 2.

Riding the Funicula was a really cool experience. The station itself was fine, though the ticket machines weren't very good.

The funicular from Parco Margherita is closed as of 1/10/22, with no confirmed reopening date.
