Walking along Via dei Tribunali feels like a journey through Naples’ heritage. The street’s lively mix of local shops and performers gives it a real sense of the city’s culture, while the smell of traditional Neapolitan pizza is hard to resist. There’s history in the architecture too, from medieval buildings to Baroque churches. It’s a bustling, charming street and a must-see for anyone hoping to get a feel for Naples.

Via Tribunali and Decumani make for a nice walk, with a good vibe, though the area is changing. It feels more and more like a fast food street for tourists. Every few steps, gypsies stop you to sell those little red horns for good luck, or toss coarse salt at you, still claiming it’s “good luck.” Maybe it’s just me, but I think this landmark needs more care, and it bothers me to see tourists constantly asked for money. There’s still plenty to see on Via Tribunali. Just don’t engage, and they’ll leave you alone.
