B&B Centro Antico

Centro Antico is a lovely base for exploring Naples, and I’d definitely recommend it. We spent three enjoyable nights here, right in the heart of the city, with an extremely friendly owner. It can be a little hard to find at first because there’s no big sign outside. There are four rooms. Mine was spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated with a touch of Moorish style. The bathroom was clean too, though the shower cubicle was a bit small. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with croissants, sfogliatelle, toast, jam, coffee, and tea. You can hear some city noise in the room, but it wasn’t too much.

Paola made the stay enjoyable. She’s lovely, helpful, and knows the city well. Our room was sparkling clean, and the location was very convenient, right in the historic center and around the corner from Chapel Sansevero. We stayed six nights and would happily return. The B&B only takes cash, so bring that for payment. The B&B is next to the sprawling university, and all the students bring a youthful energy to the neighborhood, which I personally liked. Just remember that the Centro Antico streets are narrow, so sound carries and an already noisy city can feel even louder. Naples is boisterous, and staying anywhere in the Centro Storico means expecting lots of activity and noise. If you want serene quiet, Naples may not be for you.

You can't do better for location, and the price is great for what you get. Gigi and Roberto are the nicest hosts I’ve met. They’ll help with anything and answer any question. The room is spacious and comfortable, feels safe, and has good Wi-Fi. The shower could be better, but I’d still recommend the place easily. I’ll definitely come back.
