We stayed in October 2025, and the roughly seven-minute walk to garbaldi train station was handy. But this is a set of rooms inside an apartment, so other people are likely to be there too. Our room was large and mostly clean, with cookies, tea, and coffee for breakfast. Noise carried from outside, even at night, and we didn’t sleep well. The shower was very small as well. The bathroom was across the hall, and we were told it was private and that we had a key. The first night was fine. We left it open with just towels inside to air out because the airflow was poor, and the toilet paper was damp after a quick shower. On the second night our towels and toilet paper had been moved, and it looked like someone else had used the bathroom. We locked it while we were out and overnight the next day. Then another guest asked us to unlock it because she’d been told it was her private bathroom. She tried her keys on other bathrooms, but none worked on ours or any of the others. Just a strange situation. Walking around outside at night made both of us, a man and a woman, feel slightly unsafe. Our bus was late because of train strikes, so we arrived around 9:30 pm. The building wasn’t clearly marked and there were loiters on the street. We had to wait a few minutes with our bags for the worker to arrive and let us into the locked building, which felt awkward. One night, walking back around 10 after dinner on the same street as the BnB, a man threw a glass beer bottle at our feet. Just be aware of your surroundings, as you would anywhere.

For four nights, this was a handy base near the central station, with buses, metro, and trains close by. There were kebab places, coffee shops, and mini markets nearby too. The hosts shared airport transfer information before we arrived, and the host was friendly when we met for the keys, though he explained everything in Italian. The room had plenty of space for our things, the bed was comfortable, and it was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The shower and toilet were in the main corridor but only used by us. The shower was very narrow, though there was plenty of hot water and good pressure. There’s a shared kitchen in the corridor, which could get busy if other tenants want to use it. It got a bit noisy at times because the rooms are close together and we could hear other tenants. Breakfast was really poor, as previous guests have mentioned, and full of sugar. We stopped using it after two days and just enjoyed the coffee.

Our room at 121 was great and had plenty of space. The host left breakfast snacks, tea, and coffee. It’s on the 4th floor, and the lift costs 10p each time you use it. The toilet was outside the room and the shower was too small. The building sits right above a very busy road, so noise is hard to avoid, though keeping the shutter down and windows shut made for a less noisy night. Overall, a good stay.

The neighborhood is lively, so it might not suit anyone looking for peace and quiet. I stayed one night, and the room was clean, the owner friendly, and breakfast generous. Being able to check in at 12 PM was great, especially compared with other B&Bs that check in later.

Nice people, clean rooms, and good service. I had a great experience, and it’s a very good place to stay in Napoli. Would really recommend it.
