A good place to visit.

The view from the terrace and the location were the only good parts for us. We stayed at this B&B in late September with my husband and our 2-year-old son. I'd read the other reviews first and assumed the guests were just picky because it had 4.5 stars. After our stay, I agreed with every complaint. We handled everything remotely, so the woman didn't greet us when we arrived. That was fine, but right after we got to our room I heard her escorting foreign tourists to another room and saying goodbye. I opened the door, called out to her, said goodbye, and paid the tourist tax in cash. We never saw or heard from her again, not even a message asking if we were OK, despite things going wrong. We arrived Thursday at 8:00 PM and spent all of Friday in Capri. When we came back, the room had been made up, and I thought that would happen daily. It didn't. There was no cleaning until Sunday, when we checked out, and no towel change during the 4 days. I didn't expect daily tidying, since a B&B isn't required to do that, but the timing made little sense. Even that one cleaning wasn't thorough. Under the bed seemed untouched for years, and my son's feet turned black as soon as he got down onto the floor. The air conditioning was broken at the end of September, as it had reportedly been before summer too, according to online reviews. The room's only window looked onto the terrace, so we had to leave it open and got swarmed by mosquitoes. I'd read about them and brought repellent, but it was unimaginable. We even bought some baby lice and room spray, with no luck. I asked if there was anything to heat milk or a bottle for the baby. The woman suggested using the room kettle and putting the bottle in a bain-marie so milk wouldn't dirty the kettle. But the kettle was missing its inner container, leaving the heating element exposed.

A lovely find for anyone who likes B&Bs. It's on the eighth floor, with an elevator, and the sea view is beautiful. The terrace overlooks the water, and the room is fresh, clean, and attractive, with a spacious, well-equipped bathroom and a large wall-mounted TV. It's in the city center, handy for Naples' main sights, and the price was very fair. Highly recommended.

The room matched the photos, but my partner and I had a very disappointing stay. There was no Wi-Fi, and the soundproofing was poor enough to seriously affect our privacy. The welcome was smile-free and made us feel like just another customer in a chain hotel. In summer, the air conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat, which can reach 30 degrees in the middle of the night. The owner offered no solution. Housekeeping had no manners either: they came in without knocking and yelled to communicate. I really don't recommend this hotel. There are better places in the area for the same price.
