B&B Dimora Cirillo

We spent a week in the quadruple room. It was roomy and clean, and the location was fairly central, but the management made the stay disappointing. Breakfast was just one coffee and a pre-cooked croissant. We ended up buying food at the nearby Carrefour express and eating it in the breakfast area. There weren’t any plates, glasses, or kettle, and just one knife for the whole B&B. We had to ask the manager for these things each day, and he’d put them away again in his room. He saw us eating off tissues and didn’t offer plates until we asked. The bathroom was uncomfortable too. The toilet faces the shower with almost no room for your legs, so sitting down was barely possible. The provided hair dryer wouldn’t plug into the outlet. Cleaning was supposed to happen every three days. On the first visit they only emptied the bin and left toilet paper, without mopping or changing towels or sheets. We carried the towels to the manager ourselves to get fresh ones, and had to push for the floor to be cleaned on the second visit. The manager welcomed us and gave advice about the area and beach on the first day, but after that seemed annoyed by our basic requests. He didn’t seem experienced in hospitality. One day two guests were waiting on the stairs because he hadn’t arrived for their check-in. I let him know, and he asked me to give them their room. This place could have been much better, but the management was very poor.
