Doria Suites Napoli

Super B&B!!!☆☆☆☆☆

At 10pm in Naples, we found out from the shopkeeper next door that we'd been moved to a nearby hotel. He contacted the Doria staff directly and helped us understand what was happening, since we hadn't heard anything from them. Being put in a lesser hotel with no direct communication was incredibly disappointing. We're very grateful to that shopkeeper for stepping in.

The location is handy for seeing Naples on foot, and our room was clean and comfortable. The service, though, was frustrating. We got a text with the entry codes but no other check-in details or Wi-Fi password. We had to call the host whenever we wanted to open the main door; they said there'd be a key in our room, but there wasn't one. We also had to ask ourselves about the tourist tax and how to pay it. The room's price felt high for what was provided, especially with only a tiny soap bottle in the bathroom. It wasn't a bad stay, but the value for money wasn't good.

Francesco, the owner, was so kind and always available. The renovated B&B Doria Suite has spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean. Its location made it easy to reach the shopping district, a secure garage, and major sights like Castel Nuovo, the Veiled Christ, the Teatro San Carlo, and the Galleria Umberto. Tourist bus stops are close too. A wonderful stay in Naples.
