B&B Hotel Napoli

The location is right by the city's main train station, which is really convenient. The downside is that much of the central area around it feels like a slum, though that's obviously not the hotel's fault. Inside, the hotel is cozy, nicely decorated and well maintained. Our room was clean, with good air conditioning and enough sound insulation to block the noisy streets. It had a roomy bathroom with a shower enclosure and bidet, plus a medium sized safe that fit a laptop. There was no minibar. We asked for the double bed to be arranged more like two singles, and staff found a workaround. They also lent us the little scissors we needed. Breakfast had lots of variety and good quality. The reception sells drinks, snacks and some electronic accessories. A noon checkout was handy, especially compared with places that require you to leave at 11 or even 10.

The area right around the hotel isn't especially appealing, but it's a short walk to the historic area, museums and some nice places to eat. Toledo is an easy metro ride away for shopping and dinner, especially around Galleria Umberto. It's also right by the train, metro and bus stations, making it a useful base for Pompeii, Vesuvious and the Amalfi Coast. The hotel was good value, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was plentiful and really good.

We were a group of eight friends staying at B&B hotel in Naples in April 2026. The roof terrace was a nice spot to meet in the early evening before heading out for dinner, and we found some lovely food nearby at cafes and restaurants. Garibaldi station is just across the road, so reaching Herculaneum and the port by metro was easy. The staff helped with our questions, and you can buy a few supplies at reception. The streets nearby get crowded, with lots of people hanging around. I might feel a bit wary there alone in the evening, although nothing bad happened to us.

An older building, so the rooms are large with very high ceilings, which I liked. The plumbing seems old too, and the bathroom drain struggled. Otherwise all was fine: the beds and pillows were comfortable, and I slept really well. Breakfast had a good range of drinks, pastries, hot food, yogurt and cereal. Reception staff were helpful. It's very central, near the old town, train station and underground Metro. The roof terrace is amazing, with incredible views over Naples and the mountains.
