B&B Napoli Binario1

It's right by the station, and the room was clean. Check-in through WhatsApp was easy enough, and the room is on the fifth floor. This place works for a night, but I wouldn't choose it for a whole holiday. Breakfast is basic, just a croissant and one coffee. For the price, you get what you pay for.

The central station is handy for getting around, but the B&B is quite far from the nicer tourist area. The place itself was okay, neither great nor awful, though the bathroom made loud noises now and then, the toilet sometimes needed a second flush, and the shower gel bottle was tiny. Bring your own gel. We chose this place over a cheaper option because breakfast was included. What they serve is croissants and machine coffee, but that detail is apparently only in the terms and conditions and was hard to find. It comes on a McDonald's tray in small paper cups and bags. They assume you'll want the same thing each day unless you text them. There's nothing savory, and the shop croissants aren't filling if you have a busy day ahead. Even if that breakfast suits you, you'd likely get something cheaper and nicer at a coffee shop. The owner was a bit rude from the start. After I posted similar feedback on Booking, he replied in a way I found creepy and disturbing. I've included the picture as proof because people considering a booking here deserve to see it. Don't go.

We paid in advance for two rooms, but at check-in they refused to give us both and provided only one. This is a shady place, not a hotel, and felt like a one-star apartment. They were fraudsters.

Getting in would have been easier if the owner had sent the check-in details a day sooner. The B&B is self-service, though the cleaning lady was very friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, and the gated location is great, just one block from Napoli Centrale. The Wi-Fi barely worked.
