B&B Relais Napoli Reale

The room and location were great, on a quiet little road off the main routes and close to plenty of restaurants and shops. Marco was fantastic and helped with our needs throughout the stay. When we came to collect our luggage, which they had kindly stored for a few hours, we had a bathroom emergency related to Crohn’s disease. We explained how urgent it was, but another employee, not Marco, turned us away. We had to find a bathroom elsewhere, and it led to a distressing and unfortunate situation. The place has good points, but refusing help in a genuine emergency showed no compassion. Don't expect assistance when you need it most.

The breakfast at GAMBRINUS, just down the street, was a lovely way to start the day, and our comfortable memory foam bed gave us a very good night's sleep. Angelo greeted us with a smile and took great care of us. The room was immaculate, modern and beautiful, with everything we needed, including very fast internet and sky tv. We were right in the center of Naples near PIAZZA PEBLISCITO, with public transport close by, so there was no need to hire a car. We've stayed at plenty of B&Bs, but this one was beyond what we expected. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. We'll definitely return and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you!

The owner was very rude and made us leave the room. It smelled really bad, the bathroom wasn't up to basic standards for use, and the room didn't look like the photos. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

I booked two months ahead to make sure our trip would go smoothly, but the accommodation canceled just five hours before we were due to arrive. I got there at 9 am and the owner told me they had tried my card and it was invalid. After a long discussion with the owner, front desk, and others, they blamed booking and said the system had canceled the reservation automatically. But booking clearly showed it as “cancelled by the accommodation.” I'm sure they found another guest willing to pay more and canceled mine. It was a terrible, very unprofessional experience. After more than two months with the booking in good order, having it canceled at the last minute is especially difficult when you're traveling from another country. Last-minute options are more limited than usual in summer, which makes this very delicate.
