Breakfast was great for the price. Thanks! Staying in Palazzo Carafa di Maddaloni also gave the B&B a real sense of history, right in the middle of Naples. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the hosts were helpful and welcoming. There are lovely architectural details and an authentic feel throughout, quite different from a standard hotel. Its central spot made exploring on foot easy. A good choice if you want somewhere with character and history.

The location was the best part: the area felt safe, everything was walkable, and there were lots of cheap, tasty places to eat. I really disliked the room’s look, though, and the bed left me with awful neck and back pain. The walls are very thin too. At 123 euros a night, it didn’t feel worth the price.
