Although the studio was nicely decorated, noise carried from neighbors chatting, children yelling, and dogs barking. We expected breakfast, but what was provided was packaged biscuits. There was a coffee machine, but it didn’t work, and when we opened it to see why, it was filthy. The tiny lift that takes you up several flights needs a 10 cent euro coin to operate. The place is in an old tenement-style building in a busy, gloomy neighborhood. It may suit you if you want a local Naples experience, but it was a 20 minute walk from the train station and didn’t meet our expectations.

I’m sorry to say it, but this was the worst part of my whole Italy trip. Simmy was friendly and sweet, and the house was clean and tidy, but the neighborhood and building were awful. The area seemed full of people who looked like drug addicts, and the building was very old. The room was tiny for what was called a hotel. Seriously, it felt like a scam.

The owner has secure parking, but I’d strongly avoid driving in this area. There’s a very high chance of getting hit or hitting something, so the driving and parking were the downside of the experience. Inside, it was nicely renovated with great Italian city style. Everything else was great.

The location is excellent, and the host was really nice. Breakfast included a fresh croissant brought from the bakery. It’s not brand new, but that didn’t bother me. After the first night, it was fine.

I felt really good staying here. The place is calm and looks nice, and the hosts were so friendly and genuinely cared about what we needed. It’s close to the central station and a bus stop.
