We left first thing in the morning after just one night. The room offered instead of the one we booked smelled bad, had bugs, terrible hygiene, and a toilet shelf without a lid. The original room's lock was faulty, and the host said surveillance cameras would show whether anyone entered, asking if that was fine. It wasn't. I couldn't sleep or leave my luggage somewhere with no working lock, especially in a neighborhood that looked like a ghetto. We wanted a full refund because the stay was unpleasant and we ended up waiting in that smelly room for a staff member to arrive and fix the lock, instead of enjoying the town. The listing was supposed to be a hotel with reception, but nobody was there, and staff didn't speak English, making communication very difficult. On arrival, instead of a hotel we found an old, ruined building on a shady street, with an entrance that looked like prison bars. That was enough to raise red flags. This feels like a joke, avoid it at any cost. Shame on booking.com for listing this as a hotel.

The owner was kind and helpful, but that didn't make up for the room. It was tiny, had no window, and smelled of mold, towels included. The beds sagged, the pillows were too soft, and there was no locker, bedside table, or lamp. The bathroom had no bidet and the toilet had no seat. There was a kettle and herbal tea, but no glasses or way to use the kettle. The photos don't reflect what you get. Everything here needs a rethink.

We stayed from February 19th to February 22nd and had a lovely time, with nothing to complain about. Saverio welcomed us warmly and was helpful right away, sharing tips on where to go and eat and making us feel at home. The location worked really well, close to most attractions. Our room was clean and tidy, in perfect condition, and the shower worked properly. We'd recommend it.

I was unsure at first because of the bad reviews, but I'm glad I gave this B&B a chance. The cleaning lady and the man at check-in were both so friendly. The room was clean and lovely, just like the photos, and its style really got me, especially the Versace-style duvet cover. The historic building in the heart of Naples gave the stay a special feel. Also, finally, a soft mattress and fluffy pillows. I don't get the complaints, and I don't need to sleep on marble. That alone earns five stars from me. My one gripe is that there was no toilet seat or bidet, though they did provide a handy showerhead. I'd recommend it if you're after an authentic stay in central Naples.

We only lasted one day of the three nights we had booked. The room had what we needed, but it wasn't clean: stains beside the bed, mold on the sink and in the corners, and a strong damp smell. The hotel was down a dark, narrow Naples alley where we didn't feel comfortable, and the online pictures looked much nicer. The young man running the place was friendly enough, but didn't seem to think any of this was a problem. I can't recommend it.
