We could walk everywhere from here, whether we were heading out for tours, food, or shopping. Our room opened onto a patio overlooking the historic district, and breakfast was brought right to us. Daniel was a lovely host, and the service felt warm throughout. The room matched what we expected, with a big bed and a nicely refurbished bathroom. The building also felt secure, even late at night. We had a brilliant stay in Napoli.

The staff were rude when I raised the problems, and wouldn't discuss any refund, so I ended up booking somewhere else. I felt I'd been scammed by the listing. The room at B&B Palazzo Satriano looked nothing like its online photos, and there was no terrace access even though I had specifically paid for that. I strongly advise people to avoid this place.

The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had AC, though it wasn't perfect. I'd paid for a room with a terrace, but couldn't use it because it was closed for renovation. The location was great, near Lungomare, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops close by. We could walk to the old town centre in about 10 minutes.

Our flight was cancelled because all Lufthansa pilots went on strike, and there was no way for us to get to Naples. We asked for a refund as a courtesy since that was the reason we couldn't come. They wouldn't budge. I expected some empathy, but didn't get any.

Getting hold of the front desk meant calling from my own phone, and even then it was hard to communicate unless you speak Italian or French. There isn't a staffed reception, and the property is only reachable by stairs. The room was short on replenished toiletries. To me, this is a short-term apartment rental, not really a hotel or B&B.
