The staff were really friendly and tried hard despite speaking limited English. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and breakfast was simple: coffee or tea, a croissant, and cereal. The B&B is about a 15-minute walk from the train station and 20 minutes from Via Toledo, with a very famous pizzeria across the street. A straightforward, pleasant choice for a basic stay.
We were told just two hours before our appointment that they couldn't provide the room and SPA we'd paid for because they were short-staffed. They offered to move the booking, but we were only in Naples for the holiday season and couldn't postpone it. I had bought the Groupon voucher as a Christmas gift for my husband and booked as instructed on their website. We couldn't get our money back, so we lost it. Would give zero stars if I could. Worst experience ever, such a fraud.
The services advertised were very different from what we actually got. I had to move to another hotel after the first night or I would have been ripped off. A poor experience.
The staff were courteous, but the reviews rate this hotel far too highly. Our triple room's ensuite bathroom had no window or ventilation, and the toilet paper ran out after only a few sheets. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and when I asked for a double pillow, they didn't provide one. Breakfast was ridiculous. The employee had to stand behind the kitchen counter and ration the portions, through no fault of her own. There was a mini croissant and a mini cake, plus milk, tea, or juice. Truly disgusting.
We ran into a few problems, but they were handled professionally and politely. The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean and well equipped, and breakfast was plentiful. I'll be back next year.
