The owner is easy to reach if you have questions, and the place itself is quiet, with no trouble from the neighbors. There are plenty of shops and cafes nearby. About seven minutes away is a cafe where "Eat Pray Love" was filmed, as well as the first pizzeria, dating back to 1738. Public transport is around a 10-minute walk away.

The room was pleasant and had air conditioning, which we really needed, and the place was very clean. The bathroom was private, but getting to it meant going into the hallway and unlocking it with a key, which got annoying. The toilet was also broken and difficult to flush. We struggled to open the entrance door on our first day, and it took 30 minutes for someone to let us in. The owner didn't seem very helpful and appeared bothered that we couldn't open it, though it had been locked from the inside. The location is very close to Napoli's historic center, which is nice, but the street itself isn't very pleasant. That seems to be true of the historic center streets in general.

The whole stay was stressful, from the first moment through checkout. At first there was no communication with the landlord, and they replied in Italian even though it was clear we didn't speak it. They didn't try Google Translate. The apartment was dirty and unpleasant, and we didn't feel safe there. The hosts were rude and made us feel unwelcome, and the shower water was freezing. There was no price information for the minibar and no one at the B&B to pay in person, but I still got lots of messages accusing me of leaving without paying. I said I'd transfer the money right away, but the messages felt harassing. The worst experience we could have hoped for. Don't stay here. There are many better places in Naples.

We had a nice stay at this hostel, and the air conditioning worked properly. It's close to the centre. I'd really recommend it.
