Cloister Inn

Stefano put in so much care to make our stay special. He arranged complimentary breakfast at a lovely local cafe, suggested places to visit, and organized a taxi for our early flight. He’s thoughtful and knows the area well. We really appreciated the time he spent with us. Our room at the Cloister Inn met all our needs, and the accommodation is ideally placed for exploring Naples. It’s a real gem, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’ll tell everyone about it and come back ourselves. Naples is vibrant and full of life, with so much to do that we couldn’t fit everything in.

Stefano made my first trip feel extraordinary. He was patient, friendly, and full of useful local tips. I also liked that turning three guest rooms into a small private inn keeps the place quiet: I didn't hear the neighboring rooms, and there were fewer people coming and going. The room itself was comfortable, though compact, so keep that in mind if you plan to spend a lot of time indoors. Its central spot made it easy to walk to most city sights. I'd look for Stefano's place again next time.

The bed was so comfortable I might need to buy the same mattress for home, and the air conditioning was a real treat. The room was lovely, Stephano was warm and helpful, and breakfast meant a pastry and coffee from a nearby bakery. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the train station, with a chance to see everyday Napoli along the way. There's a handy little shop on the corner, plus a lovely restaurant just around it. The area is great for nightlife, and the price was fantastic for what you get. As a woman traveling alone, I sometimes felt uneasy on the walk to the station, though I often get that feeling in unfamiliar places. Crossing the road felt like an adventure, since drivers don't wait for you. That may say more about my travel nerves than anything else. People locally were lovely, and as anywhere, it helps to stay aware of your surroundings. I'd happily stay again.

Our room was a bit on the small side, but it had everything we needed, including a mini fridge. We stayed three nights, and the host was easy to reach on WhatsApp. It's a short walk to the town's busy areas and good food, while the place itself stayed quiet.
