The room was noisy and had only one central light, with no smaller lamps. The bathroom was so cramped it was nearly impossible to sit on the toilet, and there was a bad smell coming from it. Towels were changed just once over six days, the room wasn't cleaned, and I had to buy my own toilet paper, although cleaning supplies were available. The manager doesn't speak English and used a translation app.

The owner was welcoming and gave us the information we needed about getting around and places to see. The location is very central for public transport, with the metro, buses, taxis, and trains nearby. In the Posillipo room, some electrical outlets were broken or had loose buttons, and the bedside lights would suddenly flash as if there'd been a power cut. Some bathroom towels were missing. There was a drain smell in the bathroom, and the hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel came in unlabeled, unhygienic dispensers. The hairdryer didn't have a double plug. We tried using the outlet from the TV or minibar, but the condition of the outlets meant we couldn't use it.
