We’d booked and paid for the Naples apartment well ahead of time, and told Daniela we’d arrive around 11:30 at night. She agreed to a late check-in for an extra 70 EUR, which we accepted. On 2024.05.25, we reached the apartment at 11:30 sharp, but then she messaged through Booking that she wouldn’t let us in after 11, despite having confirmed the later arrival in writing. We were left outside, and the situation put my whole family at risk. It was a devastating experience and felt like mistreatment and an abuse of our rights as guests. How is Booking supposed to help customers in a situation like this? We’ll take the necessary legal steps if needed. Financial compensation is the least that should be offered.

Daniela welcomed us warmly and professionally even though we arrived at 10:30 PM for a late check-in. She was kind, available, and gave us useful advice for enjoying our holiday. The apartment itself is quiet inside, which is remarkable given how noisy the neighborhood streets can be. Its balcony looks over the courtyard and gives a lovely view of Capodimonte. The place is comfortable and well arranged, with two roomy double bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s also a great base for Naples: Rione Sanità and the historic center are easy to explore, while Cavour and Museo metro stations are about a five-minute walk away. Highly recommended!
