Duchessa Ravaschieri Bed And Breakfast

The host’s tips and knowledge of town added a lot to the stay. It’s a cozy, easy place to settle into, and well placed for getting to Naples’ main sights. Definitely recommend it as a relaxed way to enjoy Napoli.

Mr. Tullio was friendly, professional, and always available. The room itself was spacious, beautifully furnished, and had all the comforts we needed. Mergellina’s seafront is just a short walk away, and public transport links are good. I had a great stay and would gladly come back. Five stars from me.

There wasn’t any sign of breakfast, so I don’t see why it’s called a bed and breakfast. The room was fairly large, but it was much too expensive for the service. The towels were thin and fraying, and the sheets were worn out and full of holes. There were coffee stains on the counter by the coffee maker in the entrance, as if it hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. The bathroom especially needed a better clean.

We asked the night before leaving if we could keep the room for three extra hours. They said that was fine, then texted at 9:15 the next morning telling us to be out by 10 instead of 12. We’d luckily seen the message and packed in a rush, only to be told afterward that 11 was actually okay. Cleaning was also poor: after staying Monday to Saturday, we only got the room cleaned when we reported the issue on Thursday evening, and the towels weren’t changed until Friday, so we used the same ones for five days. The bathroom had no window or vent, a shower handle taped back together, and a door that didn’t fit properly, letting water drain out of the shower. Room service seemed to happen only if requested.
