If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The room felt bare, almost like a hospital room, with no pictures or decorations on the walls. We booked a larger room because the photos showed a kitchen in the background, hoping we could cook or make tea. There were plenty of pots in the cupboards, but no kettle and not even a cooker. There was a coffee machine in the hall, but not everyone drinks coffee. We were also given just one toilet roll for three nights, and there was no toilet brush beside the toilet. I found someone’s hair on my pillow and more on the bathroom floor. Apart from the hair, the room was clean. I don’t understand how the place has a 9.1 rating on Booking.

Federica was kind and helpful, and even let us leave our bags for a few extra hours. The apartment is simple, but brand new and clean. Everything is within walking distance from this great location.

The metro is only a couple of minutes away, and the main attractions are about a 15-minute walk. Great value for money. Our room was modern, clean, and spacious, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
