The location turned out to be perfect, and everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance. After four nights, I'd say my first impression was way off. The walk to the front gates, across homeless people and through what felt like the gates of hell, had me dreading the stay. Then came the Mount Everest stairs up to reception and our room. But the receptionist was amazing, so friendly and helpful, and even walked us into the room and turned the key for us. The rooms were small and cosy, just what we needed. Maids came every day after we left, and everything was immaculate when we got back, with beds made and fresh towels. What I expected to be four days in hell felt like four days being treated like Diego Maradonna in Naples. I'd raise the rating from one star to at least one and a half. I won't judge a place before experiencing it again.

The room looked fresh and updated, and reception was open almost 24 hours. For the level offered, I think it's a good place and the price is fair. It's probably better for young people, since it's right in the middle of the party scene. Google wasn't very precise about the location; set your GPS to cafeteria Astra because the hotel entrance is through that bar. Next time, I'd personally pick somewhere farther up in town, where the streets are wider 😂😂.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the WiFi was excellent. I shared a comfortable two-bedroom apartment with my best friend, with a double bed in each room. We felt safe, and the location was excellent. It had a nice, family-run feel. A wonderful stay.

The entrance is a bit sketchy, by a drinking place that opens in the late afternoon and stays open through the night. Still, the location is good for getting into town. Pricing was decent, staff were friendly, and the room had air conditioning and daily service. There's a lift too, though it's slow, so be ready to wait for it.

The staff were lovely and gave us plenty of tips on where to eat. Our room was very clean and smelled great, and we really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is opposite a university, with lots of young people nearby minding their own business and having a good time. You can't hear them from the rooms. Great location, and I'd definitely come back.
