My Luxury

The room was very clean, and the gentleman at the desk was kind in the few interactions we had. Still, the description didn't really match what we found. Our booking mentioned a garden view, but outside the window there were only more buildings and neighbors' laundry. The place is still being remodeled, and the owners should consider better mattresses. Ours was very hard, with no give, and we didn't sleep well. It's near one of the tours we took and a few walking and shopping streets, and the building has the nicest facade on the street. But the area is noisy. A metal door outside our window seemed to slam every half hour all night, and we could hear people on the street at all hours as if they were in the room. It's clean, but nowhere near quiet. This is called a B&B, but breakfast wasn't served on site. Each morning we walked about three minutes to a bar for a croissant and a drink. It tasted good, but wasn't what we'd expected. The listing also said there was on-site parking, which wasn't true. You can try the street outside, but parking is nearly impossible on the narrow Italian streets, and we didn't want to risk damaging our rental car. There's a garage down the road for €30 a day. If you need quiet and a soft bed, this place may not suit you. If you can sleep anywhere and don't mind walking to breakfast, maybe it'll be fine.

There were several strands of hair on my sheets. The place is close to Napoli centrale, so don't expect much from the surroundings.

The room was really good, with a big bathroom, and the service was excellent. It's a nice place to stay, conveniently located for exploring the city and close to some very famous pizzerias. Highly recommended.
