Hotel Fiorentina

The area was noisy, and the rooms seemed to have paper-thin walls. We could hear people breathing, and loud snoring and talking kept us awake. It wasn’t clean either. I booked because I thought the hotel was closer to the airport, but the taxi still cost more than £20. I wouldn’t want to stay here, even for one night.

The staff did help us get ice for my fiancée’s ankle, and self checkout was handy for our early flight. Still, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The location is far from the center of napoli, and the one bus you need only comes twice an hour and is always crowded. The hotel has a renovated section that looks like a hotel, and an older section they call “economy.” Our room was in the economy part, which felt like a dorm room, with an old room and an uncomfortable bed and bathroom. We hadn’t realized this from the photos: there were about 40 pictures of the newer rooms and only five of the old ones. We asked to upgrade, and a staff member said it would be 10 euros. After checking with a colleague, he came back and said the difference was 40 euros.

The rooms had a nice modern renovation, and the service was warm and welcoming. We were looking for somewhere near the airport where we could park our car, and this hotel was a perfect fit. We also found lovely local places nearby for breakfast and lunch. It met our needs completely.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the rooms had been renovated in April 2023 with a lovely design. There’s free car parking, coffee bars nearby, and an excellent pizza place in the same building. It’s easy to get to Napoli by bus, with the R5 going to the station and the C67 to the Archaeological Museum. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.
