Hotel San Michele

I had a great time and would recommend the hotel. The rooms were clean, with modern amenities, and it’s centrally located, just off a main road and a block or two from the central areas. It’s also really close to the pizza. The neighborhood is a little chaotic, with crowds, noise, and scooters flying around, so watch out. Some young kids sped past and tried to snatch my phone. Still, the area isn’t too shabby.

We could only stay one night because the hotel San Miguele was fully booked, but the staff were so kind and took the time to find us another hotel and call taxis. Our room was big, very clean, and nicely decorated. The buffet breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed. Thanks so much for helping us during our much-too-short stay. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it!

The buffet breakfast on the roof terrace was excellent and a great way to start the day. Our spacious room was spotlessly clean and had AC, blackout blinds, extra pillows, a mini fridge, kettle, and a selection of teas. The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Claudia and Martina, who did everything they could for hotel guests. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and Spaccanapoli, and tours could be booked through the hotel tour desk. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed four nights and were very happy with the choice. The station is close by, and the old town is an easy walk. Around the hotel it’s bustling, with plenty of street food stalls, cafes, and places to eat. Garibaldi square felt a bit scary at night, but the streets in the opposite direction were well lit and busy, and felt safe. The hotel felt safe too. Reception staff were friendly and knew their stuff. Our huge bedroom had a kettle, mini fridge, and plenty of spare pillows, duvets, and blankets. Breakfast on the top floor was a good start to the day.
