Casa Vayu - Rooms & Garden

The house is beautiful and clean, surrounded by nature, and the setting itself was lovely. But the staff made this a really upsetting stay. Ganesh the caretaker was very rude, with no warmth toward guests, and the Ekostay staff, owner, and caretaker didn't coordinate. They kept shifting responsibility to one another. We were three toddlers in the group and needed help arranging meals. The nearest market is at least 15 kms away, and the Ekostay chef wasn't available. We were told their few chefs are assigned first come, first served, but nobody would help us prepare even basic food, though we offered to pay. The Ekostay staff said their job was only cleanliness, while the caretaker was supposedly a gardner. The kitchen wasn't well maintained, and we needed to use it more than expected. We ended up spending a lot of time making instant food like bread, tea, popcorns and Maggi. At least someone took money to get those basics from the market for us. We also had no electricity for almost 10 hours of our 21-hour stay. There was no music system or geysers, and we stayed in dim light to avoid using candles at night. I'm writing all this because the impolite, rude staff ruined our whole vacation. The owner needs to sort these problems out before other guests go through the same thing.
