Hotel Il Convento

The breakfast had plenty to choose from and set us up well for exploring the city. We spent three nights here over a weekend, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and gave us great places to eat. Our taxi driver called it the best hotel in the Spanish Quarter, and I can see why. A cracking little place, I’d happily recommend it.

That little outdoor sitting spot on our top-floor room was lovely for coffee in the morning or unwinding later. Inside, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were quite nice. After a chaotic evening taxi ride, the calm lobby felt like a real oasis in the Spanish Quarter. The front desk staff we met were all friendly and professional. Breakfast had a huge range: eggs, deli meats and cheeses, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, cereal, bread, and caffe. I highly recommend Hotel Il Convento if you want to stay in the Spanish Quarter.

The staff were kind, and breakfast was okay. I spent three nights here in central Naples, with plenty of good pizza places nearby. One thing to know: if you're over 180cm, the bed may feel too short. Water from the shower also leaked onto the bathroom floor and then into the room, so I had to use towels to keep it from spreading.

The room was a good size, with a small balcony and decent soundproofing. It's only 200 meters from Metro Toledo and 100 meters from Via Toledo. A cozy place, with welcoming, helpful staff. I'd stay here again if I return to Napoli.
