Iodis Relais

It’s a modern, comfortable place in a very convenient part of Naples, and I’d still recommend it for the value. The recently refurbished rooms feel brand new, are spacious and very clean, and have comfortable beds and pillows. The shower stayed warm with strong water pressure. Our room also had a TV and a balcony that was useful for fresh air and ventilation. A few practical things could be better. We didn’t see anyone at reception during our three-day stay, so paying the tourist tax by bank transfer was inconvenient. Housekeeping costs extra and isn’t daily unless requested ahead of time. We had to ask for more towels and toilet paper. There was a kettle, tea bags, and two disposable cups, which was a nice touch at first. Once we’d used one cup each, though, there weren’t any more, so we couldn’t make another tea. Reusable ceramic mugs would help, or at least replacing the disposable cups each day. The flimsy cups with hot water weren’t ideal. Even limited reception hours would make the experience better.

We arrived around midnight after our flight was delayed, and Francesco was so kind about sending check-in instructions. He kept in touch really well and was always ready to help. The hotel was the best part of our stay: beautiful, modern, very clean, with great AC and a mini fridge. I especially loved the little balcony. The location on Corso Umberto felt safe, with great shops nearby and the metro only a few metres away. Breakfast was included at a nearby bar, and it was delicious. The hotel is on the fourth floor, but there’s a lift. The windows are good, so we heard no street noise. A really great experience, and I want to thank Francesco for being so kind and communicative.

We stayed at iodis relais twice on our recent trip to Napoli, and both visits were wonderful. The family room gave us plenty of space and was comfortable, and check-in was easy. Luca was very helpful with recommendations and booked us a taxi to the airport. The driver was friendly and very professional. Breakfast at the nearby cafe was great too. The staff there were friendly, made great coffee, and were patient with our kids. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Dealing with the hotel management and booking service was a really bad experience.
