La Baia di Napoli

The standout detail was the dolphin in the bathroom. We stayed at Maison di Napoli in October 2021, and the apartment worked well for our trip with our grown-up son: it had two separate rooms, a small kitchen with what we needed, and a good bathroom. It was clean, dry, and well kept. The street was quiet but the location very central, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. There's no full-time reception, but Fulvio, the owner, is very nice. Just contact him to arrange when you'll arrive and collect the key.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the little apartment had everything we needed, from towels to kitchen supplies. It's clean and in a great spot in the historic center, close to everything, with the Metro just three minutes away. There are little cafés around for a nice Italian breakfast, and it's close to the best pizza place in the world. Highly recommend.

It's in a strategic spot for visiting the historic center, and the rooms are clean. But they look onto an inner courtyard and parking lot, and being on the mezzanine makes them dark and poorly ventilated. The bathroom has no proper window, just a small one high above the shower that's inadequate for ventilation, and there isn't an exhaust fan. The owner didn't come in person, though he answered WhatsApp messages and calls promptly and professionally. He opened the door and left the keys and essentials on the table.

The owner was helpful and handled many things online without being intrusive. The apartment was spotless, with a functional kitchen, bathroom, and good-sized bedroom. It's just minutes from the central station, so you can see Naples' main monuments without relying on public transportation. For a couple visiting Naples, I think it's the best choice for quality and value. I'm always looking for places to return to in each city, and this will be my go-to in Naples.
