Lungomare Suite & Spa

The morning staff were polite and friendly, and we appreciated the good WiFi and heating during a cold, wet week. Still, this place suits Italian guests or very independent travellers better. If you need assistance, stay somewhere else. The evening receptionist spoke little English, and Google Translate helped us get the basics across. This isn’t a hotel. The room is also your resting space, while reception doubles as the breakfast area. Breakfast was mostly cake with some European additions like cheese and ham. There’s no kitchen, just a kitchenette and a coffee machine kept by the staff behind the desk. Finding the B&B at night took some figuring out. Our taxi driver couldn’t locate it, but we’d looked at photos beforehand and recognised the door. Press the intercom to open the gate, then go into the courtyard and through to the car park on the right side of the building. The place is in section C, on the fourth floor. The signs are very small.

Enza was especially nice, and the staff were kind and helpful. They let us stay for hours after checkout and keep our luggage because our flight was very late. The rooms were clean and cosy. The hotel is across from the sea, but our room had no sea view, and it’s a bit far from the city centre. It looked a little different from the photos, the spa costs an extra 69 euros, and the food is very basic. Aside from those things, we had a great experience.

The beds and pillows were definitely comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in a good spot near the port with a great view. I had a good time and would go back. There’s a top pizzeria nearby, 50 Kalo.
