We had trouble figuring out where to go when we arrived. The building has several entrances, and we didn’t know which one led to the room. Then we spotted the receptionist through a window, and he called out, “From here, from here.” The location wasn’t good for us. The city center is more than a 45-minute walk away. The nearby station serves regional trains and other cities, so you have to change stations to get to the metro. Wi-Fi was weak and usually wouldn’t connect. The room is in a building where people live, and their cars are parked in the inner courtyard. Every night after midnight, one car alarm would ring for about 10 minutes, then another would go off for 10 minutes. It happened every day. I asked the owner if we could move the next day to a room with a more spacious sea view. He said all the rooms were full, but the following day we saw one room sitting empty. When I asked the receptionist if anyone was staying there, he said it was empty that day. I was upset that my request had been turned down when a room was available. The shower also spills over a little while you’re using it. I don’t recommend this place.

A nice stay in Napoli, and the place is new and clean. Don’t expect much from breakfast, though. There’s no sign for the hotel, so it can be hard to find.

Ask for directions on how to get in if you’ll arrive late at night. It’s a beautiful, well-kept property at the start of the most beautiful street on the Neapolitan Riviera, across from Mergellina Pier. The area is very quiet and clean. The historic center is quite far away, and parking costs a bit much, though public transport is available, including the Metro.

Starting the day with breakfast brought to the room was a real pleasure. The property is beautiful, spotless, and well looked after, and the staff are super helpful. It’s my go-to whenever I return to Naples.
