Mdc Luxury Rooms Naples

Our stay wasn’t pleasant because we had problems with the host, who threatened us.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location worked really well: Via Duomo branches off Corso Umberto I, with a metro stop at the end of the street. There’s also a Despar supermarket downstairs, handy when heading out or coming back from exploring the city. The room was spotless and tidy, and the rest of the property was well looked after too. It’s an apartment on the second floor, with its rooms used as accommodation. As others have mentioned, guests can’t use the balcony because a fixed gate blocks it. Still, the large glass door, with an automated shutter, lets in lovely light, and the room gets good airflow.

The room was spacious and made for a comfortable stay, even though the building’s façade isn’t much to look at. The bathroom was a decent size, with a window and a comfortable shower. Amenities were excellent: air conditioning, TV, coffee capsules, and a shared fridge. It’s near the port, about a 10-minute walk from the San Gregorio Armeno area and around 20 minutes on foot from the train station.

The only thing that kept this from being a five-star stay for me was the terrace. There are grates that won’t open, so you can’t go out there or hang things up to dry. Otherwise, the room was newly renovated, very clean, and the service was excellent. The metro is just steps away for getting around, and you can walk to the city center. I’d definitely recommend it.
