The bed was the biggest problem for us. There was a huge dip in the middle, and we kept waking up through the night without getting proper rest. Turning the mattress over didn’t help. The shower space was so tight we could barely move around. The staff were very helpful, and their recommendations and directions were always clear and impeccable. There’s coffee at the accommodation, and the air conditioning works well despite being noisy, which was essential in Naples during the 40-degree summer. The location is good, near the characteristic city streets and the famous Pizzeria Michele. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the port if you want to visit Capri or the Amalfi Coast.

A lovely little hotel b and b in Old Naples, and good value for the money. Just be ready for the fifth floor. The rooms are a good size and clean, there’s a basic breakfast included, and guests can use a small kitchen area. The rooftop terrace is lovely, too. We visited in Nov 2018, and Luca was a very helpful host. It deserves its top rating.

Luca gave us a warm, friendly welcome. He’s local and a great host, with advice on where to go, what to see, and where to eat. The place is close to Spaccanapoli, shops, and local amanties, and about a 15-minute walk from the Central Station. If you like walking, you can get around to everything in a reasonable time without buying a bus pass. I’d definitely recommend it. The one workout is climbing five floors of stairs, but the rooftop terrace view makes up for it!!

The sixth floor is quite a climb, the rooms are tiny, and the walls are very thin. Aside from that, it was great! The host was extremely friendly and helpful, the kitchen facilities were great, and the roof terrace was wonderful.
