There was no water at all on the third and fourth days of our stay. The room itself was in poor shape too: chipped paint and walls, a damaged floor, and a neglected balcony that didn’t feel safe. The place looked shabby compared with the listing photos and didn’t live up to the “Plus” standard it advertises. Floors and many surfaces were dirty and dusty, and the towels smelled bad. There was shower gel but no hand soap, and the toilet was much smaller than the listing showed. Breakfast was advertised as free, but none was provided. For nearly 200 euros a night, what we got fell well short of the price. This was one of my worst booking experiences, and I’d avoid staying here.

The only real upside was the central location. The private room opened straight into a shared common area, which hadn’t been disclosed, and the listing photos didn’t reflect what we found: loose, broken tiles that could cause a fall, damaged trim and finishes, plus a closet with cleaning supplies and chemicals right beside the room. The building felt very worn, and getting to it meant climbing three floors since there’s no lift. Breakfast cost extra, something that wasn’t made clear when we booked. We asked the host for a reasonable fix, such as breakfast at no charge, a discount, or a refund so we could move, but they refused. Poor value and poor hospitality. I wouldn’t return.

Monica, the charming owner, served breakfast each morning and was full of helpful suggestions for what to see and where to go. The room was lovely, with a small balcony looking out over the city, and the ensuite had a spacious feel, a great shower, and good facilities. Musee underground station is very close by, with both Line 1 and Line 2, so getting around to many parts of Naples was easy. A highly recommended place to stay.
