For the price, it's still pretty good value and the location is central. The room was clean and tidy, though a little small and an odd shape. The bathroom layout was strange too, with a small shower.

The room was bare-bones but in good shape, and our bags were kept for us until check-in. The daytime front desk clerk seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. Wi-Fi didn't work on the 6th floor, and water got everywhere in the shower since there was no curtain or glass. They provide one bottle of soap for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, so bring your own. I'd call it a solid 3-star hotel, not the 4 stars some sites advertise.

The staff were pleasant, but the hotel needs renovation. Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms, and breakfast was poor, with bad coffee and few choices if you don't eat eggs.

The location is a real strength. Hotel Naples sits in the historic district near the Spanish Quarter, close to lots of attractions, and I'd give that part five stars. The 24/7 front desk and luggage storage also made things easy. The rooms were comfortable, though the price felt a bit high for the space. Reception staff were efficient but often didn't seem very warm. The room key system was easy to figure out, but there were no USB ports. A solid stay, with a few things that could be better.
